Day 150

Dear Scott,

Today is especially hard with you being gone. This is my first Christmas without you since 2002.  I have cried so much this morning that I'm not sure I have any tears left...the thought of living without you is overwhelming this day.

But I am also comforted by my brother and friends.  They love me, even while you can't.  And I love them too.  I can't imagine how I could possibly face each day without them.

I remember our first Christmas at our house on Applegate in Charlotte.  It was so cold.  Our tree was so shabby and under decorated.  We had had hot chocolate by the fireplace and opened our gifts on that hard wood floor.  We both laughed because we wanted to have a Norman Rockwell moment but the floor was soooo hard.  We eventually gave up and moved to the couch.  I made us french toast for breakfast.  We were so happy. Do you remember?  I do.

I'm not happy today, but my memories of the many Christmases we shared does bring me much joy.  I love you so much and miss you everyday.  Merry Christmas, my love. We'll see each other again.

Jason
